Your Spokesman Speaks

With a hometown location of Chapel Hill, NC its no wonder why indie artist Doug Prescott is so versatile. He delivers a wide range of styles such as Blues, R&B, Country and Rock. After hearing his song Patience I was convinced by perfect placement of the horns.

Doug Prescott's CD "The Journey & the Deep Blue Sea" features an all-star band that includes Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League, Little Feat), Will McFarlane (Bonnie Raitt's former guitarist), Allyn Love (played with Steve Wariner and Patti Lovelace), Tony Bowman (Edgar Winters), and Martin Parker (played with Vince Gill). Have a listen and preview the album in Doug's music store.

This fall Doug Prescott will be releasing another project titled Hot Night in early November. The album is scheduled for an October 2, 2012 release date. The project is loaded and laced with talent. With the help if many Doug hopes to present something you will never forget. Doug Prescott does his thing on bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and even vocals. While friends Tommy Hartley (electric guitar, vocals), Keith Buckley (electric guitar, bass and vocals), Martin Parker (drums), and Tony Bowman, all find their place on the project. This list doesn't end there, Allyn Love, Eric Kulz, Jim Ketch, Jim Henderson, and Arch Altman all have significant roles as well. Like I said, the project is loaded and with production by Tony Bowman and Doug Prescott the album will not disappoint.

Stay in the loop by bookmarking his official website www.dougprescott.com by following his journey and when you get the chance find his music player, take a listen and share your thoughts.
