Well hello again my friends. Welcome back to another underground update. I recently had a chance to get to know an artist by the name of Marklin. By way of Salem, Oregon, Marklin brings a Pop Hop flavor that generally can be described as wholesome.

His sounds are bright and most of the songs I heard have a little Getty-up. Marklin was born and raised in LA County growing up around Santa Barbara, CA. Today he is set up a little more North in Oregon but his voice still reaches his hometown and surrounding communities.

After starting his career in 1985, at the age of 10, Marklin still continues to write a lot of love songs, dance songs and just mainstream stuff that is clean. Marklin also works with a ton of non-profits and others challenging the music industry to keep dirty lyrics away from kids.


I suggest you check out his new music page on Reverbnation and lend an ear to a positive artist in a game full of such profane and negative artists. Marklin is like that gentlemen in the club dressed in the suit. The man has class and his music has the swag to match.
